Dr. Steven Leichter is a board certified internist and endocrinologist. He attended Columbia University for his undergraduate degree and obtained his medical degree from the University of Virginia. He is a nationally recognized physician with over 70 published medical papers and book chapters. He was the third physician in the United States to use the insulin pump and was the first to give a commercial injection of human insulin.
