Dr. Todd S. Jarrell, M.D., earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Zoology, cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 1979. He then graduated with honors from The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta in 1983. He did his internship and urology residency at The Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Jarrell is Board Certified by The American Board of Urology, and is a member of the American Urological Society and the Southeastern section of the American Urological Association. He is also a member of the Medical Association of Georgia and the Muscogee Medical Society. Dr. Jarrell has served as member of the Doctor’s Hospital Board of Directors, President of the Muscogee County Medical Society. He also served as a board member of the Department of Human Resources for the state of Georgia from 1996 to 2003, where he was vice chairman from 1999 to 2001 and was Chairman of the board from 2001 to 2003.
Dr. Jarrell served as Chairman of the Combined Mens and Womens Health Expo for West Georgia and East Alabama in 2003. Dr. Jarrell was president of the Chattahoochee Valley Urology Association in 2003, and will be the chairman of the Department of Surgery at St. Francis Hospital from 2004 to 2006. In the Columbus area, Dr. Jarrell has hospital privileges at Doctor’s Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, The Medical Center and the Hughston Sports Medicine Hospital. He has served as Department Chairman at each of these Hospitals.
